Dr. Raman is uncompromising in her belief that you deserve a physician who offers exceptional primary care for real life.

At our clinic, you will receive physician-led, patient-oriented primary care, independent from outside interests. Dr. Raman knows that exclusively seeing her on every visit and one-on-one interactions creates a trusting doctor-patient relationship - the foundation of your healthcare and outcomes, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

The doctor-patient relationship has been and remains a keystone of care. The relationship between doctors and their patients has received philosophical, sociological, and literary attention since Hippocrates, and is the subject of some 8,000 articles, monographs, chapters, and books in the modern medical literature.

Dr. Raman’s office is located in the Carrollton neighborhood in uptown New Orleans.

The clinic opened in April 2013 as Oak St. Medical before moving to it’s current location at 914 Joliet Street.

Our services

Physical Health

As your primary care physician, Dr. Raman provides comprehensive care starting with preventative care and geriatric care but she also addresses chronic, long-term conditions like diabetes as well as acute illnesses like bronchitis, allergic reactions, or colds and flu.

Mental health

Poor physical health can lead to an increased risk of developing mental health problems. Similarly, poor mental health can negatively impact physical health, leading to an increased risk of some conditions. Dr. Raman understands the correlation and recognizes the need to treat mind and body.
